Sardinia is an island off the west coast of Italy and is as famous for its "surf" as it is its "turf".  Since it is an island, it offers great seafood, but fertile farmland offer great produce, and different varieties of wine.  The woodlands are full of exotic Italian mushrooms, and let's not forget its famous varieties of cheese.
