The Food: Pesto Sauce

INGREDIENTS: (About 4 Servings)
1/2 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup parsley
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/8 cup olive oil

SERVE OVER:
Cheese Ravioli
Penne Rigate
Fettuccine

You really have to love basil (basilico) to make this (some like the taste when it is mild, but not inudated with it).  Chop the basil and parsley very fine, as fine as you can get it.  Mince the garlic and blend in the olive oil.  You probably want to use a blender or food processor for this to be sure it is all mixed together well and does not separate.  You can serve this over cheese ravioli, penne pasta, and I even had it in a restuarant just outside Little Italy in Manhattan, NY where they served it over either linguine or fettucine (I cannot recall now).  If i were to order it again, I would as for it over ravioli or penne.
